You don’t have to have an an issue or be living with a disability

There is a distinct relationship between neuroscience, art making and transformation.
‘Sensory, perceptual, emotional, cognitive processing, memory-coding and retrieval are neurobiological functions that are involved in, support and underpin the generation of imagery. Imagery incorporates all senses: visual, kinesthetic,
tactile, auditory, and olfactory. Generation of and engagement with imagery contributes to sub-cortical and cortical functions.
The whole art therapy experience allows for processing and integration across the three main brain regions and the more connections that are made the heavier and more resilient the brain becomes.’
